An obsession ...

I know H boutiques would have to "buy" inventory from another shop if it is a transfer on the items they are allowed to transfer (shoes and clothes). So does that mean usually they wouldnt want us to bring Hermes items we didnt buy from their shop to return there since now they are "stuck" with the return items?

I ask because I have a couple items my husband got me that I dont like to return, but really dont want to annoy any of the SAs that are helping me get everything I want ...

Thoughts?!

You can return to any store if you are within the refund period, I believe it's 14 days. I would go in and explain that DH bought you them although they are not what you were looking for. Ask for store credit as that will appease your SA as you will them spend the money with him/her. Good luck!

You can definitely have a refund in the UK or France as long as you are within the timescales. I bought something in Paris last month on the spur of the moment then changed my mind and they gave me a full refund to my credit card, no questions asked

Wow, the sign at the Hermes near me in NY says refund of merchandise credit only within 14 days. Which is bad especially a lot of the things are on charge sent bases only. Somethings, even shawls and scarves - you really have to try on to see.

I thought Paris would only do store credit and no refund on credit card. This is what they always did to me. Good to know full refund can be done :smile1:

I bought something in Rue de Sevres last month, but had a change of heart a couple of days later. I took it back to the same store and they credited a full refund back to my Amex. The item cost just over 1000euros l think. They didn't even ask why I wanted a refund. HTH

My SA did a charge sent for me on Thursday 2/23. Normally it takes 2,3 days for the item to arrive at the boutique for me to pick up. This time the bracelet that I ordered did not arrive until Sat. 3/3 and my SA called me. So I came in yesterday Sunday Mar.4 in afternoon and the shop was so crowded so I though I just picked it up. I came home tried it on and the bracelet was too big! It's the H clic clac 1 inch in the pm. I am thinking about exchanging it to the 1/2 inch one since that skinny size fits me more. I called the boutique today Monday and my SA is off today and won't be back on Wed. Mar.7. I wonder if I will have a chance to talk to her about exchanging it or should I just forget about it? I am not sure if Hermes strictly applied their 10 day policy to charged sent items? Thanks in advance
