can I return an Hermes cashmere and silk scarf I ordered by phone; it is the wrong color and I do not want it?

You can return absolutely. Just call them. They sent me the wrong silkypop bag a few months back (despite all the paperwork and receipt cleearly stating the color I wanted). I called them up and an associate set it up for me to ship the bag back for free since it was their error. They are very nice about it even though I decided to just return the bag (too small for me) rather than exchange for the correct color.
