My brother passed away 3 years back and left a lot of unfinished business. Maybe something happened to your buyer and someone else just sent it back to you expecting you to just refund. I would just refund less fees and a small charge for the scratch.

I wonder if maybe the buyer forgot who you are: her shipping and tracking information will reference someone (your neighbor) she has never bought an item from before. Maybe she can't connect your name with the return package, LOL.

What an ODD situation though, whatever the cause.
