I ordered a bag from eBay ILD. I tried to cancel within 2 hours of ordering but was denied the cancellation.

The bag was a satchel and I decided to order a smaller shoulder bag. Which I did the same morning.

Anyway, on my way to contact eBay ILD for clarification. The post office said six days ago the delivery failed.

Now, I think I speak and read English, but this email is unclear to me. USPS says, "I tracked the package, and it was returned to the office for address verification. The package was returned to sender. I gave the tracking number to the carrier to keep and to inform management once receive. I will keep on eye on the package until deliver. I advised the customer to reach out to sender." I did not type this incorrectly. This is what was sent to me.

I tracked the package and it hasn't moved since last Saturday. Today is Friday. I have never wasted so much time over a return.

My refund was already given. I hope the bag goes to Dooney and doesn't end up delivered to me. If it does, Dooney needs to send me a free return label.

eBay ILD has good prices, but I think I'll stop buying until this gets settled. I returned a second bag this morning. I hope the problem doesn't happen a second time. The shipping label was exactly the same. Also, I paid return shipping on both items. Great service USPS.

Amazing... USPS should be able to deliver packages to a Dooney warehouse
without issue. They have probably done it thousands of times.

Why does ILD/ebay use USPS for returns? The other ILD site uses UPS.
I forgot to add eBay ILD shippong options are USPS and FedEx. I thought USPS was the safer option (remember the 39 mistake packages). The return shipping was $7.16 if you print you label vs QR code and printed at shipper.

Still zero tracking movement in a week. How is it the tiny return address in the corner is able to return package to me? But the big ship to address, tracking number and bar code makes this a failed delivery code to eBay ILD.

I had a similar issue when returning an item to Nordstrom using USPS. I actually went to the post office, and one of the supervisors told me that the items will just sit at the post office until a representative for Nordstrom picks them up. Eventually, Nordstrom received the item and all was good.

I returned the Piper bag and it arrived at Dooney. It was a day late because the driver states delivery was attempted but the business was closed. What happened with the satchel is a mystery.

Yeah, I didn't want return problems with items from eBayILD since the prices are so good.

I hope all of you are well.

Glad the Piper got back. But sorry it didn't work out for you.
Every detail of a handbag can be a usability issue if it's not right for you.
Sometimes it's hard to figure it all out within the return window,
especially without using the bag.

It always amazes me how some ladies say they haven't had time to unbox
new bags for weeks and they let return window pass. Or they want the purchase
to be a special gift, so they save it unopened. I cringe. Even if we know the
style well, we can't be sure the bag we are getting will be in great condition,
or otherwise meet our expectations.... the color could be different than what we
expect or the design could have been altered.... even if the bag is perfect.
Or maybe we didn't realize the strap attached in a particular way that doesn't work
for us, or the strap is too long/short/narrow/wide.

Yes, I know there are always special
circumstances, but in general, it makes sense to inspect a bag as soon as it
arrives, put your things inside, and test drive it around your house. That's not
a perfect replica of real life use, but it's a good way to see if the bag is right or wrong
for you. And it's hard to know unless you fill the bag with your usual carry items.
No one wants to have to downsize/change what they carry for a bag used on an everyday
basis. That might be ok for a 'dress bag' or special occasion bag, but do we really
use those very often these days? And the more skinny little pouches we carry,
the heavier the bag becomes and the harder it is to find what you are looking for....
if you have to keep changing things around to make them fit into some bags..

I've found that a slightly shorter or narrower base can make all the
difference in what fits and how everyday usable a bag is for me. It doesn't matter what
they post as dimensions, sometimes the design/construction takes away from the interior
space. If I have to stack items vertically or put them on their ends, the bag doesn't
work for me. That might be no big deal for others, so they might not even mention
it in a review or post or video.
