I bought a bag from a Hermes boutique in US.. I know it says no refunds allowed..but has anyone got a refund for a return to the boutique? I don’t love the bag and I feel bad for spending so much. Does anyone know if an exception can be made?

You can only return to Hermès for store credit, unfortunately.

The ONLY exception is if you bought it on the web, and return it via the web return process.

The only real limitations on store credit are that (1) it has to be used in-store and (2) has to be a store in our country.

Hermes is going to be very strict about not giving refunds for returns.
It has a reputation to maintain.
Unless you live in a country where there is buyers' legislation to overrule this.
Even then to qualify, items would have to be defective or not fit for purpose.

If you buy a new bag from Hermes you expect it be just that; never to have left the store with another customer and subsequently returned for some reason or another.
Some people buy items that they have no intention of keeping, perhaps it is the thrill of purchase or they want to use for some occasion. They then return them to the store with the expectation of a full refund.
Hermes' policy is to get a reputation to discourage this.
