Well I have an update. I was at my local mall earlier today which happens to have an LV. And I decided to exchange the white compact Curiuse wallet for the amethyst one. The best part is that I wasn't charged the new price, they did an even exchange which I was absolutely thrilled about. My new wallet is also made in France which I am thrilled about as well. Guess I will just save up for the damier ebene totally.
