retro chain...black or taupe?

Need your advice...would you rather get in black or taupe?

I like the taupe, IRL is is a lavander grey. Very pretty. Saw the flap version yesterday!

Taupe! It's soft and neutral. It's easier to find black bags general, but a nice neutral is harder.

thanks guys! that's what the SA said too. he said the taupe is more unique and the black is too typical.

its calfskin, and shoulder bag so I plan to use it a lot.

do you guys think it will get damaged (stained, nicked, scratched) easily since its a taupe color?
