Retourne vs. Sellier??

  1. Can someone explain the difference between the Retourne and Sellier on a Kelly bag?
Also, are Retourne and Sellier just different ways of saying Ridgid and Souplle?

I am confused! Please, someone explain these terms to me!:wtf:
  2. Retourne means return in french...and sellier confuses me-I speak a little french, and acheter means buy, vende is sell, are you sure of the sp. of sellier?
  3. sellier = saddle
  4. You are correct. Sellier = rigide and retourne = souple. Retourne is named that way because the bag is literally turned inside out for the inside stitching process. HTH!
  5. Thank you gina_b for the link!
