My first thought was to call the police if someone comes into your shop demanding money, but then I glanced over and saw you are in the UK. I guess your gypsies are like our homeless people and some of the "mystical" hippies... they prey on your fears. The woman next door, OMG! She is a real piece of work!!

Personally I would ignore the old hag... I mean the woman next door. Sounds like you have a wonderful business going and I wish you luck. If there is a talisman I can make you to ward of gypsies and old hags, let me know. ;)

I just caught up with this thread...

well, if the gypsy is a fortune teller, she should know her own fortune and know which shops would give her money?

the next time a gypsy blackmails you with bad luck, tell them "I curse you back. May you suffer nightmares." see if they don't scurry off...

as for the lady next door, nah...ignore her, best revenge is a happy life. smile and wave at her it'll just annoy her to no end.
