So went shopping with the wife today her birthday is coming up in a little bit and I was going to suprise her with some nice jewerly but decided to suprise her with a mini vaca to somewhere. So anyway back to today we had nothing planned so we decided to go shopping. I told her she could get anything she wanted up to 3k anywhere. We went everywhere! And could you believe it she didnt want anything?:nuts: Well actually she ended up getting some makeup and a dress but we went to cartier and tiffanys and she didnt want anything whats up with that? I ended up getting a new wedding band from cartier, mine hasnt fit me for almost a year and I havent worn it in over 6 months. I was a size 11 ring when we got married 2 years ago and since I have lost a lot of weight and havent been resized till today and im an 8 1/2 now. I figured there only going to get more expensive and the SA said there was an increase on tues so I bought one had to order it from another store so should have it by next week. Well theres my rant of the day, Ladies whats up with having free pass to get whatever you like and not bite? She didnt even get a purse!

Ha! I'm like that....When I am taken shopping I can't find anything.....when I am out browsing I want EVERYTHING!!!!! Its the pressure. ENjoy your new wedding band though!

That's really nice of you!

I also think its the pressure of having to pick on the spot. Perhaps if you gave her the money and let her go shopping at her leisure? I guarantee she comes home with something shiny!!

I'm like this too sometimes. I felt the pressure in the weeks leading up until Christmas also this year from my mom, I went all over the place and it wasn't until the week before that I found what I wanted. Sometimes too many options can be overwhelming lol.

Sometimes you just don't see anything you want. That's happened to me a couple times before but only a couple :)

I think it's really responsible of her to NOT get anything that she didn't love just because she had an opportunity to get something.

I understand if she didnt see anything see liked but we were at the King of Prussia mall. If you dont see something you like you would have to be blind. We went EVERYWHERE a couple of places twice. Its ok though weve talked about it when I go to pick up my ring this sunday I think she finally going to decide on something.

Yes, We went in Niemans, I love it there I have a bit of a sneaker problem and they have prada sneakers (not many places do). Well anway she just got some makeup there was a jimmy choo little bag thing she liked but not enough to get it.
