Restoring the patent leather shine

I remember seeing a thread about CL care but couldn't find it right now. Anyways I don't know whether it's improper storage or the rubbing of the shoes in luggage or use, but the shine on my black patent So Kate is lost with a lot of scuff marks. I've tried some of the general advice on restoring the polish and shine on patent leather such as vasaline and other techniques but so for nothing worked.

What can I do? Can I get them professionally done up? Or is it hopeless?

Would "hide food" or some other leather restorer work? Also, I notice your sole is peeling back babe

Oh that's the vibram sole peeling. I think my cobbler did a poor job last year when he put it on

Shame about the patent finish on your sexy SKs. Maybe your cobbler could advise on the finish, but the workmanship on the sole doesn't look great.
Yeah it doesn't look very well stuck on there hun, you might be better off without them?!
