Hi, everyone!

I found three marvelous new rings that I loved this week at some of our local pawn shops (a great place to find some sparklies for a good price!). I'm going to get them re-sized and think I've finally got my decision down to where I want it to be, but I'd love some comments/advice! I also have a heirloom ring that I got from my mother that I'm going to work into this. I go through phases where sometimes I wear no rings (not even my engagement ring/wedding bands) and sometimes I wear everything all at once!

Anyways, here are my scores:

(1) A pear-cut emerald ring. It's lab created, which I'm totally fine with. I honestly usually prefer lab-created stones, as there's less chance of someone having done something awful to get it. :( It's simply set, just flanked by three small diamonds on either side.

(2) An emerald-cut amethyst ring. Once again, I believe this one is lab created as well. It's also flanked by a few small diamonds on either side. This ring is yellow gold instead of white gold. Most of my jewelry is white gold, but I couldn't pass up the lustre of this beautiful purple stone!

(3) A phenomenal custom-work red jeweled ring. I'm not sure what's on it, but it looks like a decent oval-cut ruby in the center, flanked by diamond chips, a partial diamond halo setting, and two orange-ish (looks like sapphire) square stones on the outmost edges. Also yellow gold, but I had to have this one. I've never seen a setting like this before!

Also in my ring collection are: a princess cut moonstone ring made with oxidized silver wire, a 3-carat princess cut chocolate diamond in a simple prong setting with knotwork on the band, and my heirloom piece: a to-die-for princess cut emerald in a phenomenal art deco setting!

Attached are pictures of where I currently wear the rings I have (including my engagement ring/wedding bands), and the rings I'm going to get re-sized perched on the fingers I'm thinking of. Be prepared for a serious picture list...

I'd love some advice on what you ladies think of my finds, as well as where I'm thinking about getting them fitted to. I like it pretty well, but I'm always up for advice.

More shinies! This is my heirloom piece. The emerald is natural and a bit more cloudy than I usually like in my emeralds, but I'm not going to turn this ring down because of that. I LOVE emeralds, as they're my birthstone!

I'm seriously considering getting the pear-shaped emerald ring resized for my ring finger so that I can wear it instead of my engagement ring on days I feel more like emeralds.

Perhaps my heirloom piece would be better suited for that? I can't make up my mind!

Love your diverse collection of rings...did you ever consider wearing the amethyst ring on your pinky? I love pinky rings...and I think the rest of your choices are just right!

Thanks! I love bold colors, and was a little worried about wearing so many different gemstones all at once... but then I realized that if I liked the way it looked, why worry about what anyone else thought?

I love pinky rings too! Honestly, today I'm wearing the two emerald rings as pinky rings. I LOVE the way the heirloom piece looks as a pinky ring - the amethyst ring has a bit too much of a rise to it for me to feel really comfortable wearing it there, though. I also always seem to lose the rings I wear on that finger unless I'm super careful, so I've stopped regularly wearing rings there.

My husband was making fun of me last night for buying three rings in two days - he called me crazy. That said, I could probably get exactly what I put into these rings back by selling them on, so I call it an investment!
