I have a pair of Tiffany diamond solitaire studs that I do not use any longer since I purchased another pair of studs in larger size. If possible, I would like to reset the studs to DBTY necklace. I was thinking to do it in a local jeweler, but I am afraid that I would not be satisfied, because I personally find Tiffany's bezel setting is the best in my opinion. Does anyone of you have an experience whether Tiffany does do such resetting?

They might with Tiffany studs, but they won't with non-Tiffany jewelry. I've tried.

No. They won't do it for you. You're asking them to re-cycle you a new piece of jewelry and put their name behind it. And they won't do that for anyone.

Better hang on to the Tiffany solitaire studs in case you find use later on, or think about gifting them away.

Probably not a popular opinion, but if Tiffany will not agree to re-set your stones, you could reach out to Brian Gavin Diamonds to see if they would do it? Their work, including their bezels, is phenomenal and they've done a great job replicating the Tiffany look with some of their pieces.
