Hi everyone,

Hermes "dreamer" here :tender:

After reading the H threads & looking through all the photos almost everyday. I have finally decided on which H bag i really want... a 35cm Kelly retourne (?)/ soft leather in black; dark brown or gold with gold HW  (initially i wanted a herbag but i think i would rather "invest" on an all leather bag). I only have a budget for a pre-owned bag.

Since i will be going to Hong Kong on Dec. & would like to know where i can find pre-owned H bags besides the ones in Milan/ Italy station. Do you think it is possible to get one for around US$3-4K in Hong Kong.

Would appreciate to hear from you all.

Thanks in advance.:smile1:

I've never bought from a re-seller here, but the reputable ones (like the ones you mentioned) sell desirable bags for MORE than retail, not less.
Why don't you just buy from Hermes in HK? I always see Kellys on the shelves. A SA called me just the other day asking if I wanted a black Kelly.

I don't know where they are located (Zenith, help out here!!!), but apparently Brand-off from Japan now has one or two stores in HK. I got my pre-loved barenia from their Ginza store at a fantastic price!!! While it is true that the new bags at Brand-off are more expensive than the H boutique, the pre-loved are much, much less. I think it is possible to find what you are looking for---and a bag in great condition, too! On my Tokyo thread, Zenith posted that she loves Brand-off in HK and that they respect their bags more than some other HK resellers. Good luck!

Hi there, I'm currently in the hospital(wicked stomach flu) but nothing stops me from tpf:)

There are few pre-love kellys at resellers here, if any, it will be mainly exotics which are priced above retail.

There are 2 brandoff stores in hk now. One is at cityplaza 2,located within the apita department store (nearest mtr station is tai koo). The new store is located on the 2nd floor of world trade centre. It's located somewhere behind the sogo department store at causeway bay.

I just saw a 32cm indigo/toile kelly for ard hkd20k.

Have you also checked akiko1120; iris168; sluxury; japandream7; haute gallery; I think they're all reasonably priced sellers of vintage kelly's. I've emailed Sam at Haute Gallery and he said that he has lots of stuff not on ebay? Might be worth checking out. (I've bought bags from Sam and Akiko)

Also I think Ann's fabulous finds or Linda's stuff had retourne kellys

I think all of these sell authentic, but you can run a search for the sellers to get comments

How can I forget my fave let-trade? If you want a contact person there, let me know. They are super nice. You can even pick up our bag here when you are in hk and start using it during your holiday. The 35cm black togo kelly that xiaoxiao posted is a great buy.

Kipp, thank you. I'm going to be discharged today, thank goodness for blackberry browser that I can still browse tpf to kill time.

I've been checking ebay & some of the resellers you have mentioned & have found bags that have caught my eye &:heart::heart: but unfortunately i don't live in the US & i might have problems having it shipped here in Manila. With customs & all. I might get charged more that what i paid for. (Had a bad experience having books & dvd's shipped from Amazon & being charged so much in taxes & duties... T&D cost 2-3x the items!)

Yes the bag is dreamy! Just e-mailed let-trade & they do ship here in Manila but due to past experiences with having items shipped here (i was charged sooooo much in taxes & duties & some packages have been lost ), I feel much safer picking up the bag myself rather than having it shipped.

May i please have the contact person. I will be in HK from the 26th - 30th of Dec. I will try to contact them during my stay. Hopefully the bag will still be available by then. If not, then i hope they'll have something i can bring home with me for the New Year :tender:

btw, does let-trade accept credit cards? & does Hermes have after X-mas sales?

Thank you very much.:smile1:

Hi Mishaagui, I've sent you a PM re. Let-Trade.

Regarding credit cards, I think if you trade face-to-face in HK, they prefer to transact in cash or you can wire them the money via bank transfer. However, please do check with them to work out a payment method most convenient for this situation. I'm sure they can work out something.

Good luck and please do a reveal if you do buy something, whether from Let-Trade or not! :smile1:
