Resale values on gucci..

Can i get some advice on the resale values for gucci? This is in regards to:

NWT
Used a few times, looks new
Used with minor wear aka rubs
and well loved


Lets use a bag that costs 1000 original for the example. What would the mark down used % be for buying second hand?

Used a few times, looks new ~ 50-60% of retail price based on my ebay observations..but depends on the popularity of the bag too

Gucci does not have good resale value. I would look on ebay for a similar bag and price it according to that , wear and popularity of the bag

I agree with the above posters.

Gucci has a rather inflexible resell value.I would also say about 50% or less.

Our boutique prices can be double those in the US... even our sale prices end up being more than your original.

So 50% is where it starts.. as for used a few times and down.. thats horrible but i guess that is right since gucci has its 50% off sale twice a year.. i can just wait until then but i am in love with classics! i dont think they ever go on sale

A good alternative to eBay is eCrater and Bonanzle. Just make sure that when you list the bag you note you will ship worldwide. They get less traffic but its free to list and sell.
