Hi All,

I am reposting this thread as I've discovered a couple of new options in my search. I'm looking for a small/medium - i.e. sm-edium bag that I can use during the day and would transition to evening as well. I'm trying to decide between the following 3 bags:
1. LV petite malle souple - monogram or black leather. I like this for its unique design and the strap options lend itselt well to both day and night. But not sure if it's worth spending $3K plus on this.
2. The Gucci padlock mini - I think this checks all the boxes just not sure it has the same impact as the LV one.
3. The Fendi Kan I small - I liked this one but wonder if the plain brown leather looks a little to dull / plain? And will the leather be an issue to use on an everyday basis.

Appreciate your views as always and do let me know your experience if you own any of them.

Cheers!

I am an absolute sucker for the Gucci padlock bag. I love it so much and have seriously considered it as my first design bag. But two things hold me back. (1) The leather is super smooth and very prone to scratches, so I don't think I'd be able to carry it without worrying about that. (2) The strap is only chain. I prefer a leather strap for comfort.

Fendi for sure!!! I own several Kan I bags. The leather is exceptionally soft and luxurious. I always get compliments when I carry them. I have the model bag you show in blue. The strap is detachable, and the bag is roomy. While I do love the look of the Gucci, the clasp is fiddly and “loud” in appearance.
