I have a watch I bought at saks a little over 2 years ago and the battery just died. How much would it cost to replace? I brought it to tourneau yesterday and it was $55 but the technician was not in. Is this the standard cost? If I brought it to Cartier directly would it be cheaper?

Any drugstore. Ronson butane will work fine. Flints are another matter: it seems only Cartier has them.

I have to say, it disappoints me that Cartier, with the prices of their watches, charge for batteries. I want a Santos Demoiselle SO much, but I have a fifteen year old Tag, and I get free lifetime batteries!! Until I started looking at the Demoiselle, I thought this was standard practice (!)
