Replacement Strap?

    In July I had purchased a bag for my mom, it's called Basic Bag style #9455. She just recently started using it but the strap is sort of coming apart and when I called JAX to ask what I could do about this they said I could send it in through a boutique to be fixed but I don't live near a boutique and won't be able to get to one for awhile. So I asked if they had replacement straps and they said they could only sell me one when they have the bag in stock for $32 which is ok but they don't know if or when they'll have one in stock. But the bag is on the website so I don't know how they don't have one in stock.

    Does anyone know if there's some other way for me to purchase a replacement strap? Or if there's another bag out there that has a similar strap that I could purchase instead?

    Any help is very much appreciated! I feel really bad because my mom really likes this bag and when I got it for her I was trying to do something nice for her because she NEVER purchases anything nice for herself, she's always doing everything for everyone else. Please help :crybaby:

    Thanks for the suggestion! I didn't even think to look on ebay and it turns out there is a seller on there who sells replacement purse straps! Thanks again!

    I did call but they said there wasn't anything they could do because they don't carry extra straps but they said next time I'm in the city to bring the bag in and they could have a look at the bag and see if they might be able to send it in for repair.

    I'm not sure exactly how to do that considering I live in Canada but also it almost doesn't seem fair because it can't possibly be wear and tear with only a few weeks use. Second I don't really want to take the bag away from her since she just started using it. It's the only bag she has to use on a daily basis right now and it's one that works well for her because she can't carry bigger shoulder bags due to back problems.
