^^^^ might be a bit cheeky ?? as I didn't buy it from her - what do you think ? :shrugs:

I'll try the baby wipes KLP - thanks

I presume it is grubby ?? What else could it be that darkens the leather :confused1:

Any ideas ladies ..?

It's usually the oils from one's skin that darkens the handles, but would easily be from someone having grubby hands I guess. Still worth giving them a clean with the baby wipes. You might want to Collonil first though as the wet wipes will darken the leather even more!

^^ I don't think it's cheeky at all - Trashed Bride had a problem with the lining of a Roxy A4 tote discolouring and she wanted some advice re dyeing it, and MM was really helpful! She's been on here quite a lot lately, I think she prefers it if we treat her like a "normal" tPFer (whatever that means!!!!)

I think it was Jenova who posted about grubby handles and making some kind of poultice to put on them which drew the oils and grime out.

Oooh did she ? Thanks Tote Girl - I'll PM her
It was raining at lunchtime so did not venture out in search of baby wipes.
Kate at Mulberry gave an estimate of £70 +VAT to replace them.
