I wonder if anyone could advise me? I’m looking to buy a Dior mini boston & some listings don’t come with the padlock & keys or just with one key. Does anyone happen to know of any sites in the uk or someplace else I could buy a replacement lock/keys that isn’t so expensive? The only ones I have seen have been on eBay USA going for a couple of hundred of pounds and then some! That’s not adding import duties on top. Do the locks & keys have numbers in like a LV lock & key? There is a bag I have seen but the date code is confusing me. PZ0301. 31st week, 2000? Is that right with a Dior bag? Tia.

I think Ebay is the best place for locks and keys. If you keep searching, one may come up for a lower price.

Do you have pictures of the date code and the bag?

I think this is made March 2001 based on the older date code system.

Dior locks are not necessarily more expensive. When Dior was less popular, the lock and keys were sold for much less on Ebay.

Maybe the market is flooded with the LV ones so the prices are lower now (?).

It depends on when the bag was made. The one you posted is an older system that indicates the month in the first two digits and then the year.

They are like the LV ones. They are the same lock every time so any of their keys will open the lock.

So if I buy a silver lock like this from eBay, I don’t have to worry if the new keys from eBay will open this lock on the bag?9B7CBEAF-26BA-45E5-A52E-3CC93030D757.jpeg
