Repair to Modern Chain Chanel

Hi,

Do anyone know how much it would cost to repair the chain on the handles on the following Chanel bag:

I love this bag but want to make sure Chanel can repair it.

You'd have to contact Chanel directly. This line did have problems with the chains breaking and I remember Chanel recalling them and reproducing them without the defective chains. I think it's funny that the seller says it's hardly noticeable that almost half of the chain is missing because that is a highly visible flaw in my opinion. She would need an awful lot of luck to get $2500 Buy It Now...

Thanks. Just called Chanel and they say that it will probably be about $150 to fix, which is pretty reasonable but if its a recall it should be free. I think it will be a steal if I get it for $700 though!

That is a good price - I had the same question and the Rue Royale boutique in Paris quoted me 80-150 EUR.
