Hi everyone. I bought an LV back in Paris over 10 years ago. I don't have the receipt anymore but it needs repairing. I plan to go into LV to ask, but I wanted to get a sense of what to expect. The fabric inside has a big tear and the leather handles are also starting to give. How much might this cost me? And how will I know that it's my bag that I'll get back since there's no tracking number or anything inside my bag. Thanks!!

My LV store can track all of my purchases since it opened, so your can too as well. Then bring the bag in and they will let their repair specialist give you an approx estimate -- if they deem it is reparable. Good luck !!

They might not have access to purchase history if you bought in another country, but it doesn’t matter. As long as the bag’s authentic and they’re able to repair it, they will. I don’t imagine there would be any issues replacing leather and replacing an interior lining. You can look in the repair costs thread for an idea of price but you’ll really have to take it in to get an estimate because it seems to vary, sometimes quite a bit.

My mom’s friend purchased LV a long time ago and went to Paris for a repair. They weren’t able to repair it since it was a very old model and didn’t have the parts but they offered her a similar looking purse with no cost. Not sure if that’s the same elsewhere or now since this happens 6 years ago. I don’t think you should have issues if it’s just the leather and lining.

Hi! Does anyone know what kind of leather is used in this wallet/purse. It is an Etienne Aigner Gold, style:7212X.
Or how can the peeling be repaired or changed? Notice the cracks at its center? It would eventually peel just like the rest and would show a white flaky inner, how to repair that or change the cover?
Pleaasee HELP!
