Repair issues

Have a stainless Tank purchased in 2012. Has had a "full service" at least 1x, if not 2x, as well as battery replacements. I used to wear it daily, but have been wearing an Apple Watch in recent years instead. Saw that it had stopped, brought it to the boutique and they recommended a full service, which I agreed to. (They then followed up and added on a replacement crystal.) Went to wear the watch for the first time since it had been services - and it was no longer keeping time (though not completely stopped). Contacted the SA who had handled my repair and she didn't give me much, other than instructing me to bring it back in (or to send it in). I'll go this weekend, but has anyone else experienced this - and how did Cartier handle? Frustrated by the whole thing!

How long did you notice the issue before you contacted your SA? If it was within a window period i would make it aware that you should not be liable for charges as it was just recently serviced!
Watch was returned to me early April...so about a month. I will absolutely make a fuss if asked to pay. I did not wear it during this time (though, of course, Cartier doesn't know this), so I can confidently say it's not that I did anything to the watch.

There is a warranty for the work that they did on your watch. I believe it is a year, so you shouldn't have any issues and should not have to pay anything. I sent in a steel Tank Francaise (large size automatic so no battery) for service around May of 2022. Around January it wasn't keeping time and was stopping. I brought it and and it was repaired free of charge. I believe I had the watch back in just under a month. Although, I have heard service is a bit backed up these days and so it may take longer for you to get your watch back.
