Hi guys,

My Tiffany silver small beaded bracelet fell off my arm one day while I was out. Luckily I found it but the clasp seems to have broken. Does anyone know what the repairs process is? I bought it in 2015 and don’t have the receipt anymore. Will they take it in for repair do you think?

My clasp broke on the same bracelet. I took it back to the store. They charged me $75 to repair and it took 2 weeks. The bracelet was also polished. Very easy peasy. I have done repairs a few times at Tiffany with no issues whatsoever.

Thanks that’s reassuring. I’ve got a baby now so I can’t unfortunately just go to the store. Tiffany’s here takes so long to get anything sorted. Did you mail yours in or take it in?

What a bummer that their repair is like 50% of the cost of the bracelet though!

Edit to add: sorry I’m so sleep deprived! I see that you went into the store. Did the process take a long time of them inspecting it?

Hi! I went into the store. It took all of like 10 mins to fill in the paperwork, establish the pick up date and then I was on my way. I didn’t think twice about the price as I just wanted it fixed. TBH just happy that they offer great after care service. Congrats on the baby!

I have a pair of ss earrings with them now getting the posts replaced that I originally bought in 2007. I just shipped them in by fedex and it's 70.00 to fix and then 20.00 to ship back to me.

I have an Elsa Peretti ring Diamond Hoop ring that got bend out of shape. I had to slam my breaks to avoid a collision when I was driving and I must have squished the ring out of shape when I was holding the steering wheel... Took it to Tiffany in Houston to be repaired and to have the ring restored to it's original shape. They sent it to NY. I didn't pay much, I want to say $100.00/150.00. The ring came back but it's not fully restored to it's original design and the size is slightly off. I compared old picture with new and the diamonds position is off and the ring no longer has it quirky "loopy" design. The ring was barely new, I don't wear it everyday. I took it to Tiffany to have the repair done properly, If I knew that wasn't the case I would take it to a regular Jeweler... I emailed customer services and they deferred back to the store. I'm not even going to bother...

Yeah all the fashion houses are really starting to p*ss me off. This is like the 5th item that has broken this year and none of them are great. Their repairs are often subpar. I even sent something off for repair (not Tiffany) and they sent it back saying there was nothing wrong with it and they won’t repair it. This is why I refuse to buy luxury goods anymore. It’s all a farce.

I definitely think twice about buying luxury jewelry items, specially dainty ones…

You don't need a receipt. I took my bean necklace to a store and they shipped it out for repair since the bean is not something you can just change the chain on. That bean necklace was at least 20 years old at the time. They not only repaired it and shipped it directly to me but it came back looking brand new. They definitely stand behind their products when it comes to repairs.
