Removing stud from Nordstrom Rack bag

I bought an MJ bag from Nordstrom Rack and it has a metal stud right above the name plate (I suppose to prevent returns).

My question is, is there a way to remove it. I would rather have a hole there than the stud, I just hate looking at it.

Anyone been able to remove it?

i make handbags and the studs i use can be removed, if i mess up applying them to the bag. just takes two plyers and twisting them in oposite directions. or you could take it in the cobbler/shoe repair place and i bet they could do it, maybe for free even.

Honestly, Unless you know what you're doing, you might do more damage if you do it yourself. I'd take it to a shoe guy, they have all the tooks and are used to doing crap like this.
