Came across this on imgur... person showed jeweler a ring they liked... jeweler redid it with CAD and 3D printing, then mounted and polished... very close reproduction.

Yea the jeweler posted about it in the Reddit Jewelry Subreddit. It is quite lovely!

The one I read is just the jewelry one. /jewelry I think. It's overrun with shilling and stuff though which I cannot stand.
