Reluctant To Use Limited Edition Items?

Good evening. Does anybody else here struggle with using their LE (limited edition) pieces? I'm terrified that I may get them dirty or they will get ruined somehow.

I don't know why I feel this way. Maybe it is because I paid extra for them, or because I treasure them significantly. I don't baby my other bags like I do with this particular bunch.

I need some advice. Thanks guys.

Have 1 bag I consider relatively unique.
Suppose should be most expensive bag, for this worry, but isn't.

Not used as much as my others.
Mainly because has fiddly lock I would smash against things for daily wear. And more delicate leather.
Still, looooooove. ♡

Admit to being more careful with it, when using. Also admit to thinking it hard to replace.

Have thought same about stuff in past. Which was destroyed or lost.
Everyone lived.
New unique item was found to coo about & pat.
Only tragic in my worried-worm brain, not irl. Adapted & improved.

Was offered very rare, limited edition bag last month. Turned it down.
Immune to, "Only 1," sales line. Didn't care enough to spend more--rarely do.
Let someone else feed the wardrobe unicorn.

If it's nice enough to buy, it's nice enough to use. I was frightened to take out v expensive handbag (to me that is) and sat looking at the beautifully presented carrier she came in. Then I stroked the dust bag and sniffed the leather. Didn't take her out of the shop wrapping for days and days. Was really worried when I took her out for her first shop, then got a grip and thought. I've paid loads for this bag because I love her, not because she's limited ed. so must use her.

Am now over the 'OMG' factor and just love her as much but am maybe more careful with her. She never goes in the floor though
