Hi, I hope this topic hasn't been posted already but I couldn't see anything from the sticky threads or from scrolling through a couple of pages of posts so apologies if this has been discussed to death.

I've just had my second hand Motorcycle City authenticated (yay! Thanks to @ksuromax) and I might be wrong but the leather seems like it hasn't been properly cared for and is awfully cracked. I've got a mini as well that my sister bought me years ago and it's smooth. There are so many leather conditioner products out there and some aren't suitable for certain types of leather.

I wondered if anyone could suggest a good leather restorer/conditioning product or anything in the UK you think might help restore the look of my bag? Thanks in advance!

@Addy can you please move this to the care and maintenance thread? @michi_chi it's difficult to compare leathers as every bag is different. Some seasons/years have better leather than others as well. If you look through the care and maintenance threads there are lots of recommendations for leather care. Bal leather doesn't need anything specific, just good quality cleansers and moisturizers will do. I use Leather CPR personally.

Leather CPR is easy to find and reasonably priced. For me I think it's probably better than Apple care which is what I always used to use

Hi ladies, does anyone have tips for breathing a bit of life back into this old lady? She has been hiding in my closet for years but it’s time for her renaissance.

She’s a T tag so I think 2007 magenta chèvre but as she’s a light colour I’m nervous about using a product that may change the colour too much.

The main issue is that she’s quite dry and a bit scaly which has caused some fading. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I’m in Australia so some products may not be available here. Thanks

Do you have access to Leather CPR? You can layer it on for extra smooshiness.

Hi. I used to use Leather CPR when I was still living in the States for my Bal bags but after moving to Sydney, it’s not available here. I’ve been using Collonil Supreme Creme for my leather lovelies since moving here.
