Reissue mini

I’ve been looking for a reissue for a long time and finally settled for a mini yesterday. However lots of people are concerned over the “horizontal” lines all over the leather. I understand it’s this year’s distressed look but in your honest opinion, is it ugly? I’m asking in the unfortunate case I have to resell it down the line.7B1C2D0B-ADE2-4500-8FCC-962CA42B3186.jpeg

Not ugly at all, expected with that type of stunning leather. I think you picked an absolute beauty. I have the exact same from the river tweed collection, in gray

I don’t find it ugly - it’s more of the look and vibe of this bag. I don’t think the line would deter anyone from buying it if you’re thinking resale down the line.
IMO, you should keep it if you’re 100% happy with the bag. If you’re not happy with it I would return and wait for a reissue that you love without hesitation. Plus you wont have to worry about the hassle of resale and potentially losing some money on this bag.

My worry is that this season’s distressing does not look like the normal distressing

Do you think it is odd looking for a 40-50 year old to wear a mini reissue as a shoulder bag? The bag is so small and cute and seems more appropriate for 20 year olds. Opinions?
I don’t think age even comes into it, but I’m over 40 and the mini reissue is my favourite and most worn bag. I mainly wear my bags cross body, but either way I think this bag looks great on everyone, it’s mini without being too mini and fits a lot as well.

Reissue looks really great and grand in larger size, 226 & 227
I have a reissue 227 in grey with caviar leather and it is still one of my favorite handbags. I almost no longer use my jumbo cc classic but I still regularly use my reissue in 227. It is also much lighter.
