Reissue in metallic grey and dark silver ...same or different colour?

I saw one of the tpfer posted a pic of the reissue in metallic grey, ( next to the metallic dark pink)..and been wondering about its similarity with the dark silver.... Is the dark grey is the so-called dark silver? if it isnt, does anyone know whether, when will the dark silver be released again? and if so is the colour will be the same as previouse dark silver in SS 08?

yes there're dark silver reissues this fall. not sure if it's exactly like the tone in ss08.
but dark silver is definitely different from metallic grey.

My SA told me it was dark silver but it looks grey but not really. I dunno .... it's really pretty though.

I wanna know too!! This metallic gray vs. dark silver is so confusing. Wish someone can post the color codes so we can know the difference.

I would love to know as well. I am on the wait list for the DS and a couple of months ago my SA it was the same DS as the previous season. I saw the dark grey metallic in BG and they told me its Dark Silver. So I do not know what to think....

maybe the metallic grey is lighter more metallic than the dark silver is more pewter? idk...just a guess. anyone?

I don't have the codes, but the colors are definately different. I had my DS flap in the Chanel store today and the dk grey they had there had a bluish/purple tinge to it... not sure if I'm explaining it well, but it's definately not the same color.

I know its not the same color, but does the Chanel store refer to the new dk grey as DK silver. Eh its confusing.

i suspect it the the same thing. The dark silver for fall has a bluish/purplish undertone which makes it look like a metallic grey.So far, my SA hasn't mentioned a metallic grey at all, only matte grey.

I too think this is the "new" dark silver. It is is more of a gray.

hi, just wondering if the 2.55 reissue in dark silver in still avail? im looking to get one, but according to the chanel boutique in Singapore, it's sold out worldwide. I really want one!

The boutique in Singapore may be wrong again! The dark silver in ruthenium chain for Act 2 still hasn't arrived in many places. There is a dark silver in black metal chain for Act 1, I believe it is still available in some places. Dark Silver for the previous seasons may be sold out.
