I did a full on rehab for my "new to me" Christie bag. The one I got is from 1991, but was in rather good condition to start, just some minor scuffs and very dry leather. However, after a bath and some conditioner, it looks great now :smile1:

As usual, I dunked the bag in lukewarm water in the sink and used Ivory dish soap. I let it sit for about 20-25 minutes and then rinsed. Upon taking it out of the sink, I wiped off excess water with a towel and hung the bag to dry stuffed with paper towels, which I changed a few times so they weren't always wet. The bag took about 16 hours or so to dry and then I put Apple Leather Conditioner all over it.

Voila!!!
