Mansur Gavriel Regular or Mini Bucket??

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to have myself on a preorder for a Mansur Gavriel bucket bag... I can't comprehend on my mind how the each size will look on me... So I wanted to ask for your advice on which size would be better!

I am 5'1 with a large body frame.

I carry the following inside my bag:
- cellphone
- LV cles with keys
- small wallet
- small pouch with earphones and charger
- lipstick
- hand sanitizer and lotion

Hello! I believe the mini will fit all your essentials perfectly. Most petite girls would find that the mini is a better fit for them unless you like the look of a larger bag on yourself, which i personally do. I know the Elizabeth&James Cynnie Sling Backpack has the almost same dimensions (its 1.75in longer width and 0.75in depth than the reg) as the reg bucket bag which is easier to find in stores so maybe you can drop by a departmental store to see if that size is suitable for you :).

I'm 5'2 and I got the large bucket. I got the saffiano leather. I usually like large bags, but I wish I'd gotten the mini. Because the saffiano leather is stiff, the bag is almost awkward because it's big and bulky. I can still return mine but I'm worried I won't be able to find another :sad::sad:

Oh is the saffiano Leather as lightweight as the veg tanned one?

Thank you!! :) the mini will be a good choice since I am only 5'1 but I have a large body frame. Do you think it will look okay on me?

If you're going for the mini I think it would be the perfect size, it also flattens a little when you sling it. I don't have pictures but there are a few reviews w pic of reg vs mini in the mg threads which you can check out to see for yourself before purchasing :)

definitely the mini, I am a bit taller than you (1.65m) and I purchased the regular one and while it looked ok on me, I struggled to fit items inside to fill up the bag. it was bothering me so much that I eventually sold it.. which pains me because I went through quite a bit to get the bag!

Hi, I also think a mini would suit you better, plus from your list you don't carry many things around.
I am 5ft 4" (1.65m) and have a small-ish body frame, and I find my regular bucket a little big on me especially also because I don't carry around much. Its the only bag I have of this size though (I have lots of small-medium bags whereas this I would say is a proper medium bag) so I find it different for me.

Agree with the consensus here-a mini would be fine for what you carry. I am 5 ft 4, medium frame and prefer the regular size-my minis are always overstuffed, as I carry too much anyways.
