Anyone familiar with this designer? I just purchased one of his bags...it was $1500 on sale for $595. I had never heard of him...just really loved the style, the color, the leather. I think he used to be a creative director with Coach. But his bags sure are a LOT more $$$ than Coach!

He's one of my favorite designers for the clean lines, quality, and casual/formal look. If you're thinking of buying any more of his output, you should hurry; his shop is closing and they're holding a sale online.

I got my bag off his website after seeing one at Off Saks (unfortunately it was all scuffed & scratched so I looked on-line & got one that had never been handled). There was a huge on-line sale but I had no idea he was going out of business! So glad I made the purchase. The bag I got has a very everyday, casual vibe & the quality is phenomenal!

What? RK going OOB? Really? Sad -?nice bags, the press secretary in scandal is even carrying one this season.

Love RK, really well constructed and beautiful designs, exceptional finishes and use of mixed media. When I worked at Saks I would just hang out in his section and drool. Sadly I'm selling my mini atlantique on the bay right now to make room for something new.

Is he really going OOB? :(((

Not sure, the news says he's suspending business operations until he finds an investor. If the funds come up, maybe he'll continue? Let's hope so.
