the styles are very nice, but more than i'd be willing to pay. i just read that he's launching a limited edition fragrance that will cost $695 per bottle. yeah...

I went into the Reed Krakoff store in Caesar's in Vegas. The bags and leathers are beautiful, but all of the ones I looked at were made in China and close to $1K.

That's what I thought, too. But every single bag I looked at had a Made in China tag. I was really surprised.

Well, I gotta say this. I appreciate the honesty of the designer! Even if it were "made in Italy", it could just be a handle strap or the leather itself. I don't, however, appreciate the price. For 1k and above, I now want true hand made in Italy.

And here they are. It best magically refill itself and also slow aging.

I do like a few of the bags, especially the Boxer, but at 6k I would rather save for the Hermes it's trying to be.

I like the Boxer in glazed ostrich but the price is a bit steep

I guess that answers my question. When this line was first mentioned on the blog, I wondered where they were made, because Reed Krakoff was such an ardent defender of Coach manufacturing in China. He insisted that a company could still manufacture in China and be "luxury". Riiiiiiiiight.
