Hi! I just ordered a Recto Verso to replace carrying around my ZCP and Cles every day. Just to consolidate and only have the essentials on me.
Can anyone who has had one for a while share the wear and tear? Do you keep your car fob on the key holder?
I ordered the mono noir.
Thanks!

It’s a great piece! I have it in noir empreinte and I love it. I put my car fob and work keys on the key ring and it works wonderfully. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but so far so good!

Really excited now to get mine. My CA said it wouldn't be available for 5-6 days but I just got ship notification.

Think I'm done, can't wait to sit back and watch the price increase chaos tomorrow

I have the noir empreinte as well. I love it! I’ve had it since it first released. The leather still looks brand new but I will say my credit card slots (I use 3 of them each with one card) are pretty stretched out. If I take one card out the others will jiggle a bit and fall out if I shake it. It’s by far my favorite SLG that LV makes. I’d buy another again in a heartbeat if I needed to.

Have had blue empreinte and mono since they were released last year. I use both of them regularly, as they have replaced my “usual” wallet (compact capucines).

Both recto versos still look new, other than faint scratches on the keychain. I keep my keys on the keychain. The blue one still smells new too lol

I don’t baby my things, but I’m not carefree either. Just treat the recto versos like the nice and pricey wallets that they are, and you’ll be fine. Keep them away from spills and wipe down 1-2x a year with a damp washcloth. Store them in their dustbag only. If you live somewhere hot and humid, make sure you store them somewhere with good ventilation, and preferably AC.

Hi I’ve had mine since last December and have used it every day. I have my key fob on it and I definitely don’t baby it. I took it to the beach multiple times this summer and it got sprayed with sunscreen plus all sandy but I wiped it down and it still looks great.

I JUST received one as well. Has anyone found a good way to keep the key holder part from having all the gold rub off? My OLD key cles that’s like 15yearanold is so worn it’s gone past the gold and the silver base and into the copper sub base metal eek

I’m guessing that the wear on the gold is inevitable, but what if you tried key caps/key covers on your metal keys? Might prevent or minimize metal to metal wear. I have the recto verso but I haven’t attached my keys. I wish my car key fob was smaller!

I've had mine (mono noir as well) since Nov and it still looks pretty new (aside from the cardslots being stretched from use). I don't keep my keys on the key holder. In fact I've been debating about removing the hook because it just gets in my way lol. Personally I sort of find it a little bulky for a cardholder type wallet - I got it downsize from my Rosalie but it actually fits more awkwardly in my bags. But in terms of wear and tear, it's held up fine. I don't necessarily baby my things, but I am careful with my stuff.
