Hello,

I’ve been looking at both of these as options for a compact wallet. I’ve seen reviews and YouTube videos of both independently, but nothing directly comparing the two. Does anyone have both and can give their pros/cons and thoughts?

I’m looking for a small thin wallet that can fit into smaller purses like the pochette accessoires, maybe even mini pochette and a wallet on chain. I’ve purchased and returned the Victorine and the Zoe—the victorine still felt large and “puffy”, the Zoe was a good size but it only for about 4 cards and I typically carry 6+. I don’t like folding cash more than once either. I don’t carry a ton of coins, but I still like having the option, and sometimes use the coin purse as a little pouch for little bits and pills.

Anyone able to chime in with their thoughts? Thanks!

I have the Rosalie and use it for my extra cards. You should check out the coin card holders in the men's section. I use that and find it more appealing than the recto verso.

I have both and prefer the Recto Verso way better and thinking of selling the Rosalie. Rosalie having the leather tab and the leather coin zip does bother me but do feel it fits bit more. Keep in mind Recto Verso is more card holder style you keep cc card on outside so Rosalie looks prettier overall.

I only have the mono recto verso, and I regret this purchase. I have the empreinte zoe, and its one of my favourite compact wallet. It’s much better imo, especially if you don’t like to fold your cash.
With the slim profile of the recto verso, it’d be very hard for you to utilise all the card slots. Even if you place the cards in the slots, it’s near impossible to pull it out.
Not sure about the rosalie, but I think it’s around the same size as the zoe? just no cash compartment. I’m waiting for a cute print to come out in the rosalie to get it next, haha

Hm lots to think about…I like the convenience factor of the recto verso with the cards on the outside. But I like the color and compactness of the Rosalie. I guess I won’t really know until I have both in my hands to compare. They were both add to cart yesterday and I really considered buying both to return one…but I’m already on ban island for some time.
Thanks for all your input!

I have 2 Rosalie and I love it. Can fit LOTS of cards and fit well in all my small bag. I don’t have issues with the button so far. But I am sure LV will take care of it.
If you don’t like folding your cash, you can’t have this kind of small wallet. I don’t like to fold cash too, but for the past few years, I never use cash at all. I just need my cards. Most of the time I forgot I have some cash with me. So it doesn’t matter for me now.
Good luck on deciding.

Ooh the azur one is so cute! Thanks for the pictures. Not sure if I didn’t specify in my initial post, but I meant I don’t like folding my cash more than once, in half. I saw video reviews where cash fits in both the Rosalie and recto verso if folded in half. For the key cles you have to fold your cash in fourths to fit.

Eerrr.. I don’t mind folding it once or more. I never use cash anyway.

Recto Verso

Was in your shoes a while back. Searched high and low for a “compact” wallet across multiple brands that could easily fit in a PA….ended up selecting recto verso.

No regrets. Especially love the card slots on the exterior. Love the zipper and pocket compartments for more security options.
