I am sorry if I created a double thread. I tried searching for a thread with recommended SAs but did not find one.

I am a Hermes newbie. I have been reading Hermes shopping experience for first timer and I am absolutely scared/discouraged but many unpleasant shopping experience from first timer visiting H boutique. I feel like I should not even venture into H at all after reading so many rude SAs stories.

I don't live near a H boutique and I am looking to call around to see if I can have my name put down for a wait list for a bag that I want and see what the ordering process is like. I don't want my first shopping experience to be a nightmare so I decided to seek help here to see if anyone has any good recommendations to any SA here in US either email or phone call.

If this is a double post, can someone please direct me to the right thread. Thank you.

Welcome! There are plenty of nice SAs at H, and plenty of happy customers, so don't read too much into threads talking about disappointing experiences. One thing which is generally true however is that it is not possible to place an order on the phone, especially if you don't know the SA.

I know you don't live close to a H but next time you travel to a city with H, pay them a visit, get to know the SAs, and who knows, you might be offered just what you're looking for on day one!

You can have success working the phone to acquire Hermes bags (so long as you aren't looking for a Birkin or Kelly right off the bat). Last spring I was looking for a Victoria. I live on the East Coast of the U.S. and I cold-called the nearest H boutique. The SA who answered the phone said they didn't have the color I wanted in their store and she seemed a little busy to do a computer search of other stores' inventory. So then 10 minutes later I cold-called another H boutique in a nearby state. The SA who answered the phone there was wonderful. She searched the computer for the Victoria I wanted, found one elsewhere in the U.S., and had it shipped to me. I have also purchased a Lindy and a Gao from this same SA, both through phone calls and email. I've never met her or set foot in her boutique. So don't be discouraged. If you know what you want, pick up the phone and give it a try. Many other tPFers have done this.

If you don't mind me asking, can people from USA do phone/email order from Europe?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have the name and phone/email for an SA at either of the Hermès Berlin stores?

I am hoping to pick up a Halzan there in a week and wanted to call ahead if possible.

Thank you in advance.
