Recommendations on a Damier ebene travel handbag - birthday treat!

Hi LV Lovers!

This Friday is my birthday and I will be treating myself to a new LV bag.

I am looking for something that I can use when I travel and I tend to carry all the usual bag bits + books and iPad, etc so it needs to be roomy. But also versatile, as I then use it to go out in the evenings.
I would prefer Damier ebene for ease of care and because I don’t have any bags with that print.

I have been eyeing the speedy 30 and the graceful. Any other recommendations or ideas?
If you have the speedy 30 or graceful - are they good for travelling

I have the Graceful MM in mono and the Speedy B 25 in DE. I do love both but the Speedy is a perfect travel bag. Daytime you can wear crossbody so you are essentially hands free and then at night you can remove the strap and and go handheld for a different look. The Graceful is a beautiful bag but I would 100% travel with my Speedy B

I have the same inquiry so I am interested in responses from others. I already have a Speedy 25B in mono, epi Alma BB, and PF in mono. I would like to add a DE in a different handbag style that i would likely use as a casual handbag...as I already use my PF and Alma for evening. I am leaning to the Graceful PM and would add a bandouliere...

This is so helpful! I was looking at the speedy for its versatility and it’s so classic and pretty!
I have a graceful in mono but with the vaceta I cannot be comfortable travelling with it...

I went to LV today and ended up ordering a Speedy 30 My World - in monogram with the black handles and red interior. Cannot wait to get it!

i found my own reply while doing another search - it’s like back to the future of forum threads.

I eventually purchased the speedy 25b in DE in 2020, and was completely over the moon…fast forward to 2021, I am awaiting my order of a graceful pm in DE. I gave zero plans to add a strap.
