Recommendations for small everyday crossbody bag?

Hi all, I’m struggling to find a good small everyday crossbody bag. I would like it to be fairly small—just enough to fit iPhone, wallet and keys (I usually look for something around 8-10 inches long and 5-7 inches wide). Ideally, it would go with a range of outfits, from sweats to something more dressed up. Also would prefer soft leather to hard leather (slouchy would be amazing but there’s not a lot of that at this size). It doesn’t have to be luxury, but I tend to gravitate there given the generally higher quality.

I was looking at the balenciaga city mini, which was almost perfect, but I found the crossbody strap too short and the top handles too stiff (sticking up at a weird angle crossbody). I’ve tried looking at a bunch of brands but haven’t found anything I loved. If anyone has any recommendations, I would love to hear it!

I have a mini Puzzle and often carry two phones, a key pouch and a card holder (the folding type, LV calls it pocket something). The issue with that bag is that the zipper is short so getting the larger phone in and out is challenging. Some of the other suggestions may be easier to use in the sense that less tetris-ing is required.

Go in and tell the CA what you're looking for, try everything. Keep mental notes and keep an open mind. Then decide. Once you go the mini bag route, you will want more than one.

My favorite right now is the Chanel mini 22. It's a soft calfskin leather bucket bag with beautiful chains. Since it's open top, I can put in quite a few things in.

You’ve gotten some great suggestions from the previous posters. I am a strictly crossbody gal, but I tend to use more medium sized bags. That being said, here’s what came to mind

- Chanel reissue 225 (fashionphile has a few options right now, plus there’s a promo currently available)
- YSL mini Lou camera bag
- Dior Caro (small)
- Gucci Blondie Mini shoulder bag

Mulberry mini Alexa may bo worth a look. It's got a top handle, stylish, squishy, adjustable shoulder strap, and comes in seasonal colors.

Since you mentioned Balenciaga, I had le cargo xs, it was perfect for a short crossbody, and stylish edge looking. Otherwise, there are many designers small bags, too many to list.
