Recommendations for everyday luxury bag?

Hi All,

So I have a lot of luxury bags that are much too fancy for everyday use. They are bags that I must pay careful attention to when carrying due to the details, softness of the leather, etc.

Does anyone have recommendations for luxury bags that are more practical to carry everyday with stiffer leather resistant to scratching and, most importantly, light in weight? Something along the lines of Louis Vuitton Neverfull but not as common. I already have a YSL Envelope. Looking to spend max $3,000. Thank you!

If you are interested in non-leather bags, I use my Stella McCartney and Issey Miyake bags as everyday bags. I never have to worry about them or pay attention to the weather. They are also light weight.

I recommend Ferragamo for luxury leather bags that are wonderful for everyday use at a price point below $3000. In particular the Sofia or Gancini top handle models. The Studio could work, but it is a bit heavier than the others.

The Row Double Circle bag in Medium, Large, or maybe Extra Large, depending on what size you want. The leather is divine! Exceptional craftsmanship/quality. I use mine a lot, don't baby it, and it still looks brand new after almost a year. They also have other styles that might work, with the same amazing leather and quality.

I'd recommend Celine's Cabas bag. The leather is fairly scratch and water resistant, priced between 1300 and 1950 USD, carries tons and is soft but structured. If you prefer a lighter bag, the Vertical Cabas is super light.

Having said that, there is no zip or top closure though, so if that is a concern then this isn't suitable.

Otherwise I like Mulberry for the durability and the leather but the bags are quite heavy.
