Hi all I've been a member here for the longest time lol and has been through so many bag transition in my life and on hiatus for a while since I have kids because I don't feel a need to use a designer bags. Now that my kids are not babies anymore I start carrying my bags again but some of my bags aren't really my style anymore so I sold most of my collection away. I'm looking to get a good everyday bag and I'm not planning on switching my bags after I got it, anyone has anything to recommend? Im looking at tan/brown leather handbag as I feel it's more casual and will fit my lifestyle more. So far I'm in love with acne studios musubi bags and polene numero neuf in tan, but I hope I could have more options and suggestions since probably many people here have used and love their tan bags and they have help up wonderfully. My hope that I could use it for travel and everyday so it can't be heavy, digging my shoulder and probably safer option with zipper or narrow opening to prevent theft. I don't need a giant or large bags since I usually only carry essentials, also not hoping to get a Madewell bag since it's too common here. TIA all!

yes! do you own mansur gavriel bags before? I heard the leather quality isn't that great and the corners scuff easily especially on their bucket bags?

I once owned a Mansur Gavriel tote bag from them and I didn’t have any issues. But I just literally brought it to work, put it on the floor, and brought it back home lol. Probably not the best judgement of wear and tear.
Other than that, sorry, I don’t know much about the resilience of their bags.

But I have heard really good reviews on Coach bags! I don’t have their bags but my husband and I have the leather shoes and belts. They are very durable!

thank you so much for your input! They have nice designs and it's so funny that I'm looking at those two exact bags from the website as well, may I know what are the design that you currently own? My only setback is that they're not 'tan' enough.

It might be the unpopular opinion but I'm not into coach bags. They're overly popular in my opinion

I'm going to be super unhelpful here, haha.

I have the Numero Neuf and am very happy with it. I will say that the handle placement can make it a tad awkward to get things in and out of the bag.

However, I'm also a big fan of the Musubi and I think it would be a great everyday bag while still making a statement.

Buuut, I'm also going to throw my (third) hat into the ring with starkfan's suggestion for the Loewe puzzle. That is a beautiful bag, and it's known for holding up very well as a daily workhorse.

If your budget allows for it, Loewe does a great tan colour -- the small Puzzle comes to mind as a good fit for your requirements, and you could possibly even go down a size to the mini Puzzle if your essentials are really minimal. HTH!
I LOVE Loewe! I'm thinking to go that route and buy the small puzzle, I do have the budget, only I can't swallow the fact that for the price point it's gonna be an everyday and throwaround bag lol

How heavy the neuf is like? I'm considering both neuf and huit and I think huit is a bit tad 'flashy' for everyday but lighter than neuf.
