Hi everyone! I am looking for a nice Crossbody strap for my Graceful PM’s. I have 2, one in DE and one in DA. I am using the DE now and I am saving the DA for the spring. My shoulder has been bothering me wearing a winter coat with this bag as I constantly have to adjust the bag onto my shoulder. It keeps falling off! I’m thinking a crossbody strap will solve this problem so that I can wear this bag comfortably. I don’t want the strap to look cheap or ridiculously long so I figured I would come here to ask what everybody uses! I’m looking for both leather and fabric straps. Please show me how to attach these straps so that I don’t scratch up the O-rings on my purses and where to place them, as in front of the short strap, or behind it. I would appreciate any pictures (and links on where I can purchase these straps) of anything you use on your Gracefuls! Thanks so much in advance! Here’s a good shot of my baby!❤️

I am using the strap from a Keepall 45 DE which has bigger clasps which don’t scratch when you attach them to the rings. But be aware that the metal rings are going to be scratched anyway because metal rubs against metal. Even without adding a crossbody strap the metal will be scratched but for me it’s fine.

Thank you! I hate scratches but with a winter coat, it’s a pain in the neck having to adjust the bag back on my shoulder every minute! I need the crossbody strap 😂

Yes, I also don’t like scratches but even without a crossbody strap the golden rings of the Graceful will get scratches. That is the normal wear of that style.
I got the Keepall strap to avoid it but learned that scratches will come. I also use my Graceful crossbody most of the time because it’s so convenient
To be honest, today I think I would attach a thinner strap with smaller clasps and would take into account that it’s harder to attach.

I did buy the o rings to attach first to avoid scratching my hardware and then attach a crossbody strap to them. I don’t have any bags that have straps so I’m looking for one that looks pretty and functions well! Thank you so much for your input 💜

just wondering, isn't O ring also going to scratch your hardware anyway? I understand that maybe different type of scratches but they are scratches?

I like @Melli12 idea using keepall 45's strap, any off brand items may make me uncomfortable to carry.

Sorry, I guess I didn’t word that right. I bought the O-rings so that I wouldn’t scratch my hardware trying to put the Crossbody strap on. Yes the O-rings will scratch the hardware anyway but it will happen over time as it rolls back-and-forth. Not initially. Hope that makes sense.
