I read in the AT section that kaledioplace is a trustworthy place to buy preowned bags.

The thread was closed I think in 2007. I just want to see if anyone had recent experience with kaledioplace and if it was positive. This is my first time "considering" buying preowned bags. So, any comments would be appreciated.

I hope I'm posting this question in the right place. I search kaledioplace but I wasn't able to find alot of info.

kaleidoplace - Nancy is the owner - is completely trustworthy. She is responsive, has been in business for a very long time and has clients who both consign and buy from her over and over again. Trust her totally.

I have purchased a few items from her in the last year or so (Evelyne, croc romance belt, and a zip agenda) and she is great! She's super to deal with and ships quickly. Nancy is also very very fair with pricing. :tup:

I think if you've never done business with or personally know a reseller, it's wise to get confirmation from a third party that the items are authentic. It'll give you peace of mind. That being said, I've bought from Kaleidoplace several times, and I've never had a problem with authenticity, condition, or the transaction. Good luck!

This is also the first time I've brought a hermes kelly and never seen it in real life. Any questions I should ask ? Thanks so much for the replies! You guys are great! I hope to get it soon! :)

it is scary to read some comments about ppl here who ordered from ebay, paid for it and the bag didn't arrive! :(
but since kaleidoplace has so many positive comments here, i guess it will be alright. :)

It is very unfortunate to read about members who were victims of an unscrupulous seller here recently.

However it should be clarified that the transaction was not an eBay transaction, and thus the buyer most unfortunately could not get the buyer protection that eBay gives in situations where a bag is paid for but not sent by the seller.

If a transaction occurs on eBay, and a seller cannot prove that the bag was shipped to the buyers PayPal address, then the buyer will get their money back, according to eBay rules.

I have also sold with Nancy and she is fair, responsive, and very honest/accurate in her descriptions. I wouldn't worry at all - I'd buy a bag from her no questions.

I have worked with Nancy on several transactions and have been absolutely and completely happy with her professionalism and integrity. I think she is one of the best resellers out there focused on H. IMO you can purchase from her with complete assurance regarding authenticity, condition, and price point. You can see from the many comments about her here that many tPF'rs feel the same way.
