Has anyone ever heard of or used cash.me?

The site seems okay but although I haven't studied it as much as I'd like, I don't see how to make withdrawals to transfer money to my bank.

A buyer wants to pay me through this site.

I've peeked at it before, apparently the money goes directly to your account (you have to provide your account info) it just shows up within a few hours no need to make withdrawals or transfers. However the comments about security, and lack of customer service (and just the unfamiliarity with the service) would make me nervous about using it if it's a large dollar amount. Reviews state a possible security risk if your e-mail is ever compromised, it would be like handing over your debit card. They don't deal with credit card info. I ended up passing it didn't feel right, and is maybe too new for me to trust.

That's how I feel. It's a small sale - <$50 but I'm not real comfortable about it. I didn't sign up yet so hadn't gone far enough to see where I'd give my banking info.

I have to think about it for a while.

If it goes directly into a bank account, I'd think about getting an account specific to use for just that service, so it can't affect your normal accounts that have your real money in them.

I might be overly cautious, but having a utility company once do an automatic withdrawal for 13000 (the bill was 130.00) I don't like others having access to my money!
