I think you may be right about the cracking down... I wanted to send my Bearn wallet for spa and the SA at Takashimaya SG said it would take 6 to 9 months.

If its just minor cleaning you can do it yourself. I would not unnecessarily send my items to spa unless its major work to be done. The wait isn't worth it.

Yes, the reweaving is done by a local vendor at least for my store, but the dry cleaning is done in New York.... Go figure
