I was cleaning out my jewelry box last night, and came upon a diamond nose stud that I used to wear. The diamond was always too big for me to wear when I used to wear a nose ring, so I never wore it. It was a gift from my mother, which I always thought was kinda cool because that was her way of accepting my strangeness, lol!
Anyway, I think I would like to bring it in to a jeweler and have them make it into a sterling silver DBTY bracelet.
Does anyone have idea how much this would cost, and what would be a reasonable price to pay? Basically the jeweler would make a bezel for it, and then attach chain and a lobster claw clasp, so I am thinking it wouldn't be too outrageous.
Thanks for any and all help!

do you have any wg chains laying around that you dont use anymore? that would reduce the cost and a jeweler would much prefer to custom a bezel in wg than silver. I think you would be looking at a charge of $100-$175. it's a great idea but keep in mind that unless the length of the bracelet is snug to the wrist, your diamond will be sitting on the underside of your wrist most of the time. good luck!!

I have a T&Co DBTY bracelet. The diamond is almost always on the correct (top) side of my wrist. I think this is because all of the tags near the clasp (on one side it says Tiffany and co, the other side says Elsa Peretti) weigh the "wrong" side down.

Thank you for your perspective!
I am going to visit a local jeweler and see how much they would charge. This will be interesting!
