Exciting and kind of funny: Monsieur Louboutin is collaborating with the patisserie Laduree to make gift boxes for macaroons! I'll be so jealous if anyone is going to Paris in September, which is when these come out

Food and shoes: two vices that every girl has at least a small obsession with. That is why, when we heard that Monsieur Louboutin has teamed up with the famed Laduree, we couldn’t be more excited.
Christian Louboutin is famous for their red soles, Laduree for their amazing macaroons. The famed designer told us of this collaboration a few months ago, when he unveiled his Marie Antoinette collection at South Coast Plaza, and since then, we have been waiting in anticipation to see the images. The pastry boxes that he created really do look similar to that collection that he made. The gift boxes for the patisserie come in three different varieties, all with jewel toned shoes and bags, and a ripped effect, as if someone just couldn’t wait to get their hands on the goods inside. Inside the box, the thought of the fabulous delights in side, macaroons with a Mediterranean twist, make me salivate.
The patisserie will start using these boxes September 11th. You can have just one, or collect all three for your collection. You get to satiate your desires with amazing treats and keep a box that you will certainly treasure forever.

Too bad I'm not going to Paris anytime soon. Can't wait to see pics though - these boxes are probably adorable!
