Read that CL is designing macaroon boxes!

Gals, I am here in paris and there is a STAND at the entrance of PRINTEMPS that sells macaroons. I am getting me some today! The smallest box with 8 pieces though, I don't think I can eat anymore than that!!


also, $66 for a box is a good deal. The big box is about 37 euros, the smaller boxes about 10 euros!

so i'm sure you all mean macarons, not macaroons.

macarons are the french pastry made with almond paste (as seen in Marie Antoinette)

macaroons are a little cookie thing made with coconut.

to be honest, i don't like macarons that much, but i LOVE macaroons. though, the limited CL box is cute enough to buy just for the box. hahhaa

anyways....
i asked if i could buy the box without them inside but he said i'll still charge u the same amount with or without les macarons. N i was like forget it.

He short changed me but 10 gbp... cause he thought i gave him 10 gbp but i gave him 20 gbp and i only noticed at dinner when i was paying...

shoelover thanx! i'll probably call them up tomorrow... they arent open today. but but but the macarons are yummy!

They also have a fig and date macaron which was designed for the louboutin box as well as its red and black.

OMG u have to try that one!! I tried it and it tasted delicious!! I'll post pics soon I got a slightly bigger box, the 8 piece one!!

btw, I noticed there are LADUREE stands all over Paris. I've seen at least 3 at CDG airport as well, so anyone in europe go and get urself some treats!!! :biggrin:
