Since I have 2 Gucci Outlets within an hour drive, I have stopped shopping retail gucci products. Don't get me wrong, it has been my Favorite Fashion brand. Lately I have been obsessed with the Marmont mini. I can't seem to locate one online other than the Gucci website. I was thinking of going to a department store since I can get points on my store card. I noticed that some items are presale for November or October. I know that last year, Saks made some customers wait for months after their promise date. Any intel on new colors or stock coming? I have two associates working with me that will call for the future. Any upcoming Friends and Family or 10x points? I know that I got invited in June and I believe last month from NM and Nordstrom.

So I have two options. I wanted the black small or mini but every store I've called is sold out. I was going to also get the red super mini anyway.
Now that I see this pink, I am tempted to get it but have not seen it in real life. Is this pink or is it beige? I love pink but to be honest, I have too many pink bags and don't really have a small black one. What does this pink bag look like? How small is this red super mini? The sales rep says that an iPhone 7s will not fit in it. Any thoughts?
Is the pink porcelain rose? If so it's a nude pink. If it's the other pink, it's a nice true baby pink.
Super mini is extremely tiny btw. I don't I'd recommend that. It doesn't fit much.
Are you in the US? Nordstrom and NM don't have the best Gucci stock.. If you need the black one I'd call a Gucci boutique. They can transfer in bags easily.
Sorry, a bit off topic, but if I may ask, what kind of bags do you see at the Gucci outlet? I was thinking of driving over to one but it's not that close so I'm not sure if it would be worth it.
Well I've gotten a Soho hobo recently fuschia patent leather about a year ago. It was cheap like under $900. My sales associate calls me and put things on hold. He hasn't been the most reliable recently but I do ask him for things they definitely don't carry like blooms in pink (they had the blooms men's line luggage) and Marmont style bags (they had Marmont logo like bags but not the new styles). I think my mother got a Swing large tote for like $500. I've gotten Womens buckle logo belts (older styles from like around when the Swing was first introduced a few years back), silk and wool logo scarves and sunglasses for $99 each. I got guccisma and crystal joy medium size bags for cheap too like $300. They have 50% off clearance sales all the time during holidays but it's normally on older styles from 3-4 years ago. Last year things that were on the private sale made it to the outlets like orange and fuschia soho/
My sales associate and I have worked with each other for years there. He may be flakey when it comes to getting back to me regarding things I want but I make sure he is working when I go to the outlet. He pulls things in the back for me like untouched newer merchandise and last few clearance items like older model wallets and key chain cases for $200-100 that he can add on to my sales. I had another associate I worked with before him too but he got promoted to another store. I've shopped there since they opened about 7 years ago. I buy something about every 4-6 months and window shop i between so the staff kinda sees me as a familiar face.
Hmm.. I think it's the true pink. I bought both the mini pink and the red super mini. I will pick it up tomorrow. I hope I like it. This is at Neiman's. My SA at Nordstrom quit! I did just get a phone call from his colleague telling me that my original SA quit but have the new colleague my info to contact. They are out of mini anything in their system. I am on the waiting list when the new look book arrives in a month or so. I think I will hold onto my bag and not use it til I see what the new colors are or to hold off on a black mini or even upgrade to a small if the size is too small.
Are there perks to shopping at the boutique? When I was younger, my sales associate would write me note cards inviting me to their private sale. I used to get their nice thick bounded look book too which I haven't gotten in over a year. I was avoiding the Gucci boutique because I get rewards at NM and Nordstrom. I want a belt next or a Dionysus mini. I got double points on the order I just made. I had 8,000 points already so this sale will get me over 10,000 and a $100 note.
It's a soft pink but I can't confirm since the NM tag and receipt classifies it as pink/red. I bought it over the phone. Since my SA at NM is on vacation, his coworker put whatever mini they had in stock for me hoping I like it. It's a gorgeous color. It's lighter pink in well lit areas but it's a muted beige pink. I was hoping for a beige one but in the store light, the beige was a darker boring light brown. This color was a neutral earthy looking pink.
