Although it’s considered a trendier bag as a whole, the shape of the bag itself is timeless. IMO, the only part that may go out of style sooner than later is the coin purse hanging from the strap. But that’s easy to take off, and use in different bags. Some could argue that the nylon strap will go out of style, but in my mind since they use them for some Hermes bags they’ll always be in style. The bag itself with the chain strap will never go out of style.

I absolutely do not think it's worth it to buy this bag. I rant about this so often, but to fork out what Prada charges for their poorly made bags these days is not worth it. To buy anything because it's "in style" is never a reason to buy anything. I personally don't want to see myself coming and going with the latest "It" bag from any designer. Form and function come before anything and we don't need to spend thousands of dollars on "It" bags to accomplish that goal. Walk your own path and purchase something that will fit your lifestyle. Use it until it's tattered and know you've gotten your money's worth out of it. But hey, I've always been a bit of a renegade. :giggle:

I think the multi-pochette trend is already on its way out, if not already out. I purchased it in 2001 at a much lower price point. I don't think I will buy this at its current price, tbh. That said, I've used this bag the most out of all my designer bags.

I agree that the bag itself with the chain is fine, and will be fine for a long time. It's the strap and the coin purse that might look "dated".

What’s another good alternative bag, casual but could be dressed up if need to. Everyday bag.

Hi Prada Psycho,
Hope you have been well! So glad I stumbled on this. I was really kicking myself for selling my Prada nylon and Vuitton monograms over the years when I saw these Re-edition bags with their $$$$ price tags! I was seriously thinking of getting a nylon one just to mend my mistake but could not agree with you more on the insane price and relatively poor quality! I have been shopping within my closet for a long time.
